All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-12-25T04:48:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: S18E10
Active Region Number: 13932
Note Keyword:
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: Relatively faint and very wide CME seen to the south and southeast in SOHO LASCO C2 and to the southeast in STEREO A COR2 during an observing campaign; the CME is associated with an M4.9-class flare and resulting eruption from the vicinity of AR13932 seen near S18E10 with predominantly southward directionality around 2024-12-25T04:48Z in GOES SUVI 304, 284, 131, and 171. The 284 signature is characterized by a destabilizing arcade south of the active region and broad dimming signature. Associated with a type II radio burst with observed shock speed of 1064 km/s.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

One spacecraft leading edge measurement which results in speeds close to the observed type II shock speed but decreased in velocity with farther frames, potentially due to deacceleration. |
